How we use your details

This is a plain-English notice for the enquiry form on this website. It explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Who we are

This website is run by APM Digital Solutions, a UK business that builds websites and enquiry automation systems for local businesses. We are the controller of the details you send us through this site, which means we decide how they are used.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your mobile number
  • Your email address, if you give one
  • What you need help with
  • How you would like us to reply: phone or email
  • Your message, if you write one

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, in the way you asked, and to arrange a call if you want one. We do not use them to send you unrelated marketing, and we do not sell them.

Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and our need to respond to a request you have made to us.

How it is stored and who handles it

Your enquiry is kept in a database and may be passed through a hosting provider and the email and text message providers we use to reply to you. These companies handle your details only to provide that service to us.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards that UK data protection law accepts.

We do not share your details with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for up to 12 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we work together and as long as the law requires after that. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask what details we hold about you and get a copy
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete your details
  • Ask us to limit how we use them, or object to how we use them
  • Ask for your details in a format you can move elsewhere
  • Withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did before

To use any of these rights, email us at max@apmdigitalsolutions.co.uk. We will answer within one month.

How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
